Our WALKING Baby!!

Its official, Tyler is walking!! He started taking steps here and there a few weeks ago, but now he is on the MOOOOVE!

I just thought I would post a few pictures I've taken over the past few days. There isn't any NEW news, other than a few new words.

Tyler is now saying "tickle tickle" and "get down kaidy". LOL It really amazes me how quickly he picks up on things. I was dusting the other day and he was following me around with a sock. When I would dust something off, he would do the same with the sock! He is such a cutie patootie!!!

yep, thats all I can say about this picture! LOL I can't figure out who excatly he looks like, but its someone in our family, or someone I know! I am so loving these chubby cheeks lately!!

These pictures are out of focus. I have been TRYING to take some nice shots but very few turned out today! :(

Anywho, Tyler is really big on making faces these days. He has found his frowning muscle and is frowning up a storm. The only trouble is that he is NOT frowning to be sad, he does it to be sossy. lol I was trying to make him frown in this picture, but as you can see he thought I was being funny! lol

Wow

Where is the time going people? My baby is 11 months old and I am returning to work next Monday.. boooo hooo!! :(

Tyler is growing so fast! He is taking steps here and there and is amazing us every single day. I am very proud of how quickly Tyler is picking up words and learning new things. I don't know how in ONE year a child can learn soooo much! Its so amazing.
These are just some of his favorite things to say now :
Mum, Dad, Kitty(kiki), Cheese, Whats That?, Jackie (akey), Greg (geg), Ball, Bird, and any animal noise you ask him to say. If you say: "Tyler, what does a birdie say?" he will answer with "tweet tweet". He then usually points to the nearest bird in the house. He also knows, meow, ruff, and he makes spitting noises for a horse. It is TOO funny! The other day I asked Tyler to wash his hair. He picked up the face cloth and started rubbing his hair. It was too funny! They learn so quickly at this age. Its monkey see, monkey do. All you have to do is show him something ONCE and he will repeat it. Its amazing to say the least!

Tyler was sick not too long ago and they weighed him at the hospital. He was 24lbs then so I am assuming he is at least 25lbs now or more! He keeps us busy all day long. He requires lots of special attention and refuses to stay in his playpen for any amount of time.

I am going to throw his first birthday party a few weeks after his actual birthday. We are in the process of buying a house (cross your fingers for us) so hopefully then I'll throw him his first birthday is his own house, with lots of kids and lots of presents and lots of FUN!!! :) Ok, I'm corney.. so what, I'm allowed to be!! I might even invite a few of MY close friends. It should be a lot of fun :) I have some invitations to start working on!!!!

I have been trying to get some nice pictures of Tyler standing and walking, but thats just NOT happening. Whenever I want him to walk he won't. He just suprises us here and there. Tonight we were watching a show onTV and Tyler started walking away from Jeff towards me. He took about 4-5 steps and then realized what he was doing and dropped to his butt. I know that if he wanted to he could walk furthur. Its almost like his scared to fall.

Anywho, thats about all the new news. If I think of anymore, I'll post it again soon. Sorry for not updating much lately, I have been working on a new blog for my scrapbooking and its been keeping me super busy!

ACK! I don't know what I am going to do when I go back to work! That and we are planning to NOT have internet at our new house!! I am going to go into withdrawl! lol

Blue Eyed Baby

Two years ago if somone told me I would have a red hedded - blue eyed baby I would think they were absolutely crazy. I know we have blue eyes and red hair in both sides of the family, but I never imagined it would show up in my children! I love it! He is such a beautiful child. Everytime I look into his crystal blue eyes my heart melts into a million pieces!

Joedee (a girlfriend of mine) is giving me tips on taking pictures. I am quite happy with how this picture turned out, however I just wish that he was on a solid background because it makes it hard to scrap with all the different colors! lol

Why do boys love trucks??

I just find it very hard to understand. WHY do boys like trucks so much? This little boy of ours is almost 11 months old and he already loves trucks! We could have a gazillion toys out on the floor and all he wants to do is say "vrrooommmm vroommm" and push his trucks around on the floor! Now if you ask him what noise a truck makes he says "vroom vromm". Its wayy too cute and he is way to smart! lol I took these pictures last month, but I had to share with y'all!

OH and he loves the flicker too. He even points it at the tv now to try and change channels and turn the TV off and on. If it doesn't work then he'll just toss the flicker to the side and go shut the TV off himself! lol It gets pretty annoying when you are deep into your favorite show! :) Not sure if this is just a boy thing or not.. but men do have an obsession with the flicker!

Scrapping Is Great Fun!!

Angie came over lastnight and I was showing her my scraps. She didn't know that you could do scrapbooking on the computer, so I figured I would just let you all know that you CAN, and its MUCH cheeper than doing it on paper!
