Happy Birthday Little Man!

Happy Birthday to you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
Happy Birthday dear Tylllleerrrrr...
Happy Birthday to you!
On Sunday we had a little birthday party for Tyler! He turned two on April 14th and he had a blast!
My Dad and Mom got Tyler a new trike for his birthday. It is a Radio Flyer and it is absolutely precious! He was waiting for a bike for a few months now, pretty much ever since they came into the stores around here, so the above picture is the shocked look on his face when my Dad brought his bike into the house before the party. He was SOO excited!!!
Taking it for a spin! He is learning how to ride it on his own!

WOW I LOVE this bike!!
My friend Tanya came and brought her kids. These pictures (above) are of Katelynn, who will be two on April 21st! Jackie just loved playing with Kate!! It's nice to have a baby girl around for a change! :) The heaping pile of presents above! As soon as Tyler walked in the door and saw all the presents there he said "MEEE Tyler's presents!!" He was so excited. It was adorable!
This is Zachary, Tanya's soon below!Ty is a HUGE balloon fan.
I got 28 balloons blown up with helium for the party . The kids thrashed them around like crazy and had a blast. I had to take them from them at one point because I thought someone was going to get hurt! LOL My friend Sherri brought her little guy, Noah (below). He turned two on April 6th! If you look back in the archives, or if you were an avid reader of Ty's blog you should recognize him!The bunch of us!Tanya and her beautiful daughter, Kate. Doesn't she look just like a porceline doll? I want to eat that child. We got Ty one of those little houses ! You know, the kind with the sink, two benches and sweet little real life windows!!!
Everytime we go to Zellers we can't get him out of it, so Nanny and Poppy Hamilton bought him his very own! He LOVES it!!! Lastnight we played in there for a good hour cooking frogs and having naps and getting the mailman (Jeff) to bring us crackers, honeycombs, and drinks of water. It's great fun... and even I enjoy playing in it with him because it's just like the old days when we used to play "house".
For those of you who don't know me well, I will just let it be known that I have a very hard time playing dinky cars and trucks. I have no patience for that stuff and I think its because I grew up playing barbie dolls and my little ponies. We never had any boys around. SO THIS PRESENT I LOVE!!!

Uncle Brad and Rhonda got Tyler a very nice present.. and it was such a suprise...HIS VERY OWN FISH... which he named DORY of course! Now lets just pray the Cat doesn't kill him before I do. I don't have very good luck with fish, but they say betas are easy to keep!! :) CAKE TIME!!! Isn't this one of the cutest pictures ever? Look how bashful he was when we were singing Happy Birthday to him. He was loving every second of it!!! It was too cute for words. I seriously wanna kiss his face off when I look at this picture.Blowing out the candles! I love the shot above here! LOL note the crossed eyes! hahaha!Playing in my new house with Ron, Uncle Brad, and Poppy! And just before bed he took his new bike for a spin. I have to laugh because Jeff and I bought him this helmet to wear, and he didn't have any issues with putting it on until he had it on his head and was sitting on the bike. The first thing that came out of his mouth was "No helmet Mum". I instantly saw my future and it went like this....
I'm doing the dishes when I look out the window and here is Tyler biking down the road with no helmet on. I instantly run for the door and scream at the top of my lungs "TYLER PUT THAT HELMET ON YOUR HEAD OR YOU ARE NOT DRIVING THAT BIKE. DO YOU HEAR ME? DO YOU WANNA PUT IT IN THE GARAGE FOR A WEEK MISTER!!?? GET IT ON RIGHT NOW!!!"
I can't believe my baby is two. It feels like just yesterday the doctor layed him on my chest and I looked into his beautiful navy eyes and said "oh my goodness you look like your daddy!!!" Now my baby is two.. and before I know it he'll be leaving me... I think I need to go have a cry now.

Snow much FUN!!

Well it has been decided that I suck at updating this blog. I think I am going to close this blog after Tyler's 2nd birthday pictures and just update my personal blog at www.iheartscrappin.blogspot.com this blog will still be here if you would like to read into my archives, and maybe when I get some more time I will be able to update it once again. In the mean time, keep it book marked until I say so because I do intend to post our little guy's 2nd birthday pictures here soon!! Can you believe this child of ours is almost 2? I can't!! He is so much like his father, it's hard to get the two of them away from one another in the evenings. Whatever Jeff is doing, Tyler wants to do it too. Whatever Jeff enjoys, Ty enjoys it as well. I really don't understand why men like to go out and shovel the driveway and play in the snow so much. I hate the cold and going outside to play really does not interest me in the slightest. Jeff and Tyler, however, could stay outside and play until their noses fell off from the cold.

I took these pictures on Saturday. We had gotten a mini snowstorm Friday night and it was SOO warm the next morning that I got conned into taking Tyler out to play - which I didn't mind because it WAS really warm out for a wintry day. He had so much fun, and I will admit that I enjoyed myself too. Every second I spend with Tyler I love him more and more. I really didn't understand how much love a person can have in their heart, until I met my son.

This is a snowsuit that a friend gave me. It is by far the warmest snowsuit I have ever seen for a child, and Tyler is growing out of it so very quickly. I actually think it's an 18 month snowsuit, and any of you who have children know how the sizing works on these type of items. Tyler really should be wearing a 2 or even 3. He wears a 2 or 3 in mostly everything these days. I am not going to purchase winter boots or a new suit now with spring comming, so I still just cram him into it whenever they go outside, and it still has been doing the trick. Those little bootie things are soooo warm, and his feet do not even get a TAD bit wet or cold with them on. I love the fact that this suit is red so that when the next baby comes along I will get even more use out of it! :)
Well.. he's still got that red hair, and that's not gonna change aye? Look at his eyes, you can tell he is going to be fair like his Momma.
Well hope you all can make it to our birthday party for Tyler! Check in soon to see an update with lots of pictures!!! :)
